Global News has called an NDP majority government in the Manitoba election. 

It was being called one of the closest elections in a decade but in the end, the NDP were returned to power.

The NDP were dominant in their traditional stronghold of Winnipeg. 

At the time of the call, they were leading or elected in 25 of the city’s ridings and 36 overall. 

The PC are elected or leading in 20 ridings while the Liberals have been elected in one riding. 

All three party leaders won their seats.
