Bernard Drainville seeks PQ leadership

MONTREAL – Parti Quebecois MNA Bernard Drainville is set to enter the party’s leadership race.

The former journalist will officially announce his candidacy in his home riding of Marie-Victorin on Sunday.

Drainville was best known as the former cabinet minister responsible for the Charter of Values.

He joins Vachon MNA, Martine Ouellet as a potential candidate to replace former leader Pauline Marois.
