WATCH: YouTube star discovers ‘coolest sound ever’ in Alaska

WATCH: A video uploaded Monday to YouTube has gone viral after Alaskan video blogger Cory Williams included a segment where he gets incredibly excited after hearing the sound of a rock skipping over a frozen lake.

TORONTO – A popular YouTube blogger in Alaska has released a video featuring his overwhelming excitement to a bizarre sound made from skipping rocks over ice.

Cory Williams, also known as “Mr. Safety” from his other YouTube channel “SMP Films”, posted a lengthy video blog Monday of his new life in Alaska.

Early in the video, Williams comes across a frozen lake and decides to skip rocks.

“Wait a minute, this looks like a great place to skip a rock,” Williams says. “Dude, it’ll never go in!”

As his first toss hits the ice, a bizarre sound effect echoes across the lake. Williams goes into immediate shock – his eyes wide with excitement.

“Whoa! Dude, I’m tripping. That was amazing,” the 33-year-old says. “I’ve never heard that before.”

In a blink of an eye, Williams charges up a hill to look for another rock to throw. His girlfriend, holding the camera, laughs.

Before the segment ends – as if the moment wasn’t funny enough – the abundance of joy causes Williams to accidentally pass gas.

The 33-year-old spent most of his life living in California. In August, Williams and his girlfriend packed up their belongings and moved north.

“I packed up everything I owned and drove a 9 day trip from sunny Los Angeles to the beautiful glacier-filled mountains of Anchorage, Alaska,” Williams posted on his blogging channel. “With me are my 2 cats, Sparta and Loki, my adorable adventurous girlfriend Kristen and her lovable dog Penny.”

His new channel, DudeLikeHELLA, features his “fish out of water” experience as a new resident of Alaska and has already earned more than 120,000 subscribers.
