VANCOUVER – Langley RCMP say a man out for a walk in the 20700 block of 53A Avenue on Saturday discovered a human body near the Nicomekl River.
The BC Coroners Service is now investigating and given the geographical location and terrain of where the body was found, Fraser valley Search and Rescue has been called in to assist with a search for evidence.
Langley RCMP say they have identified the person but are not providing any extra details, pending notification of next of kin.
A forensic autopsy is expected to be completed early this week.
