TORONTO – Coun. Paula Fletcher has held on to her seat for Ward 30, Toronto-Danforth, after an interest race shaped up during the election campaign.
Fletcher faced off once again against journalist Liz West. In the 2010 election, Fletcher held the seat for Ward 30, narrowly defeating West by 259 votes.

Also running this election was Jane Farrow, a community activist and the founding executive director of Jane’s Walk – an international movement of free, local walking tours inspired by urbanist and activist Jane Jacobs.
In the end, Fletcher finished ahead of West and Farrow with nearly 50 per cent of the vote. West had 27.7 and Farrow had 20 per cent.
