This week we covered stories about the Magnotta trial, a new gaming trend known as ‘swatting‘ and commuter headaches for South Shore residents. However, the story that got the most attention from our viewers was our exclusive about a boy who was allegedly beaten up on a school bus. 

On Monday, Anne Leclair reported on a story about 8-year-old Zachary who came home one day with bruises and cuts, claiming he was beaten up and bullied on the bus by a group of teenagers.

Just one day after the Riverside School Board said there was no truth to the allegations, police confirmed the arrest of two teens in connection with the incident.

“Why are elementary students riding the same bus as high school students? clearly this is not a good idea for many reasons.”

“I’m glad this is being broadcasted. Bullying needs to be taken seriously and people need to take action to make this stop. The bus driver should be reprimanded and the parents of the teenagers have to take responsibility over their kids’ bad behaviour!

“everyone wants to blame the driver. They have their hands full with kids entering and exiting vehicle and watching traffic that doesn’t pay attention.”
