CALGARY – Police have laid charges against two people in connection to a large marijuana seizure.
Officers discovered about 120 pounds of pot inside two vehicles stopped in a northwest parking lot last Thursday.
The drugs were found in dozens of heat-sealed packages, stashed in black garbage bags.

The approximate street value of the drugs is $535,500. Investigators believe they were transferred to Calgary from British Columbia.
Two people – a man and woman – were taken into custody.
Sandra Pearl Dalpe, 61, of Chestermere, is charged with trafficking cannabis marijuana and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Douglas Paul Hryniw, 51, of Calgary, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
