Threats made against Saskatoon’s mayor, city hall

SASKATOON – A man has been charged after threats were uttered against Saskatoon Mayor Don Atchison and city hall.

Police say a call was made to the Saskatoon Transit customer service line on Sept. 20 making the threats.

The nature of threats has not been made public.

A 53-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday and charged with two counts of uttering threats.

He is scheduled to appear in provincial court on October 28th.

His name has not been released.
