Read what you eat

What do you check first when you look at a food label? Calories? Fats? Carbs? Sodium? Sugar? For some, reading food labels is a kind of religion, with seemingly endless information to analyze before making the formal commitment to take the low-fat-aspartame-free-fibre-enriched-strawberry-mousse-yogourt home. For others, however, labels can be onerous, overwhelming or just another piece of information overload, designed to take the fun out of food — and life.
