COLEVILLE, Sask. – A man has died after a crane moving metal bins hits an overhead power line Monday afternoon in western Saskatchewan.

The man was part of a five person crew assembling grain bins for a farmer near Coleville, Sask.

Mounties say a crane moving the metal bins came into contact with the power line, electrocuting the worker.

Efforts to revive Kelly Bruce Rolston, 23, from Mayview, Sask. were unsuccessful. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.

He was working for a construction company based in Shellbrook.

No one else was injured.

Occupational Health and Safety along with the coroner’s office have launched an investigation.
