TORONTO – Acklands-Grainger Inc. has acquired the assets of Quebec-based industrial distributor Fercomat Inc.
Financial terms weren’t disclosed, however, Ackalnds-Grainger said it expects the acquisition will increase its sales by three million over the next 12 months.

Acklands-Grainger, based in Baie-Comeau, Que., is a distributor of industrial, safety and fastener products. It has 175 branches and six distribution centres throughout Canada.
Fercomat is the Toronto-based company’s third Quebec acquisition in the past three years.
