Ottawa transit system place C$34-million order with Alstom Transport

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Alstom Transport has received a C$34-million order for diesel trainsets from Ottawa’s transit service, OC Transpo, the company announced Friday.

The company will supply six of the Coradia Lint transets for the Canadian capital city’s local O-Train service in May 2013.

Each Coradia Lint trainset can carry 260 passengers.

Alstom has delivered more than 500 Coradia Lint trainsets to both public and private operators.
