Arthur Porter insists his wife is innocent

MONTREAL – Alleged fraudster Arthur Porter is insisting his wife has done nothing wrong, according to La Presse.

The French-language newspaper reports the former head of the MUHC is defending his wife, Pamela Porter, in what’s described as a family blog.

Arthur Porter is still in a Panama jail, accused of accepting millions of dollars for the awarding of the contract to build the new super hospital.

His wife is accused of helping him hide that money.

According to police, a portion of the quarter-million dollars raised for bail money, following her arrest in 2013, came from a questionable bank account belonging to the family.
