WINNIPEG – Two people were arrested Friday after thousands of dollars worth of drugs found in a home in the 1400 block of Elgin Avenue West.
Police were searching the home when two people arrived.
A 25-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were arrested without incident and are facing drug trafficking charges.

- 2 kilograms of Crystal Methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $110,000.00
- 6 ounces of Cocaine with an estimated street value of $10,800.00
- 2 kilograms of cutting agent with an estimated street value of $2,000.00
- Approximately $44,000 in Canadian currency
- Packaging materials
- Scales
Officers say that the man and woman lived in the same building.
They were both released on promises to appear.
