The city says the change is being made to improve the flow of traffic in the busy corridor.

The HOV lanes will continue to give priority to TTC buses, taxicabs, motorcycles and bicycles.

The lanes are in effect from Monday to Friday, except on holiday, during morning and afternoon peak periods between 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
