Multiple car collision sees only minor injuries

MONTREAL – At least six cars have been involved in a multiple vehicle collision Sunday afternoon in Ville-Saint-Laurent.

The accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. on the corner of boulevards Marcel-Laurin and Henri-Bourassa.

At lease one car has been flipped on its side after rolling on top of another vehicle.

“A 30-year-old man is still trapped in his car,” said Constable Danny Richer with the Montreal police.

“He is injured in one arm, but not in danger. Firefighters are trying to get him out.”

Drivers and passengers in the other vehicles are also being assessed by first responders.

“Others have been injured, but lightly,” Richer told Global News.

“There were no serious injuries.”

Montreal police are investigating the cause of the accident.
