The Royal Canadian Mounted Police gathered Sunday to honor its fallen members.
The National Memorial Service in Regina remembered special constables, auxiliary constables and members of the RCMP who lost their lives in the line of duty.
Two names were added to the Cenotaph, the Honour Roll and the Memorial Wall plaques this year; Special Constable Andrw Ooyoumut and Constable Michael Bernard Potvin.

S/Cst. Andrew Ooyoumut, born in 1915, first began working with the RCMP in 1946, and worked various positions including hunter, guide, and interpreter.
S/Cst. Ooyoumut was survived by his pregnant wife Kukshow, and their four children Krinyuknuk, Nungwah, Ikcot and Oomowyuk.
Cst. Michael Bernard Potvin was born on August 4, 1983 and entered the RCMP Cadet Training Program on November 17, 2008.
Cst. Potvin was posted to Mayo Detachment on November 22, 2009. He is described as well respected by the local First Nation community.
Cst. Potvin leaves behind his wife Allison and their son Jack, who was born after his father’s death.
