LEVIS – A portable-stove exploded inside a high school cafeteria in Lévis, injuring three teachers Monday morning.
The explosion happened around 9:30 a.m. during a welcome-back breakfast at École Secondaire de l’Envol.
Lévis police say the stove was being refilled with fuel when it exploded.

The teachers suffered burns to their arms and faces but are not in danger.
There were not students in the school when the incident occurred.
