CALGARY- The Calgary Stampeders have a brand new look.
The football team unveiled new two-toned helmets on Wednesday, which still feature the running horse. However, it’s in reflective chrome instead of the classic white.
Other features include radiating lines and the Latin slogan ‘quid quid requiritur,’ which means ‘whatever it takes.’
The players are trying them out in practice, and will debut them in their annual Labour Day Classic game against the Edmonton Eskimos on September 1.
