UPDATE: Two dead after crash near Pangman, Sask.

PANGMAN, Sask. – Two people are dead after a three-vehicle crash at a highway intersection in Saskatchewan.

The crash happened Tuesday evening east of Pangman at the intersection of Highways 6 and 13.

The three vehicles involved in the accident were a Nissan SUV which was driven by an adult male and a female passenger, a Dodge Journey which was driven by a female that had one youth male as a passenger, and a semi-tractor trailer driven by an adult male.

The driver of the Nissan SUV has been identified as a 44-year-old man from Austria and the driver of the semi has been identified as 59-year-old Glen Trenouth from Radville, Sask. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

The female passenger of the Nissan SUV was brought to hospital in Regina with unknown injuries and the two occupants in the Dodge Journey were transported by STARS air ambulance to a hospital in Regina with unknown injuries.

RCMP continue to investigate the cause of the deadly crash.
