Reality star and former Saskatoon resident, Shannon Tweed has been engaged to her boyfriend of 28 years, Gene Simmons.
Despite a long pre-engagement the reality stars revealed they will finally wed on October 1st, 2011.

The couple have two children together: 22-year-old son Nick and 18-year-old daughter Sophie.
Mr. Simmon’s also known as “The Demon” from the rock group “Kiss,” has claimed to have had sex with approximately 4,600 women.
Tweed was Playboy Playmate of the Year in 1982 and was once romantically involved with Hugh Hefner.
Gene and Shannon started dating in 1983.
Tweed was born in Newfoundland but moved to Saskatoon where she graduated from Mount Royal Collegiate.
