VANCOUVER – Canada Post says they will require medical information from people who are unable to collect their mail at a community mailbox and will still need home delivery.
Canada Post is phasing out their home delivery so they are looking into ways to still provide service for everyone.
A questionnaire will arrive in the mail soon and people will be asked to indicate if they can pick up their mail from the community box.
If they cannot, they will need to provide a note from their doctor and their medical history.
Other options include delivering mail to a relative or adjusting the mailbox height.
