Canadian Museum for Human Rights unveils galleries

WINNIPEG-The Canadian Museum for Human Rights is preparing to open its doors next month. Today, The CMHR gave a sneak peek of ten prominent galleries.

While the galleries are still under construction select artifacts of the over 200 exhibits were on display that will eventually fill the galleries.

That includes a ballot box from South Africa’s historic election of Nelson Mandela 20 years ago.

Other galleries will feature indigenous works and holocaust videotaped oral histories.

The museum will have it’s grand opening September 19.
