CALGARY- A Calgary-bound airplane was forced to turn around shortly after leaving London on Tuesday, due to an emergency on board.
Crew members on the BA103 flight from London Heathrow reported seeing smoke in the cockpit, and requested a priority landing back at Heathrow.

The plane landed safely, and all passengers disembarked as normal. It was originally scheduled to land in Calgary around 9:30 p.m. MT.
Engineers are now inspecting the aircraft.
