25-year-old man seriously injured in head-on collision near Yahk B.C.

VANCOUVER – A 25-year-old man has been taken to hospital in Calgary after a serious collision on Highway 3 near Yahk, B.C.

He collided head-on with another car and witnesses tell Global News he was weaving all over the highway before the accident happened.

STARS Air Ambulance responded and transported the man from Cranbrook hospital to Calgary.

He was in serious but stable condition while en route to the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary.

It is unknown at this time if anyone else was injured in the crash or how the crash happened.

Highway 3 is open but there is a two-way traffic detour via Rail Way Avenue.
