LIMA, Peru – Peruvian authorities say a bus has overturned on a mountain road in the Andes, killing at least 21 people.
La Oroya regional prosecutor Hermelinda Zavala tells the Radioprogramas station that the bus apparently ran off the highway because it was speeding. The accident occurred early Friday roughly 100 miles (170 kilometres) east of Lima, Peru’s capital.
