All lanes reopen on westbound Hwy 401 at Trafalgar Rd. after collision

TORONTO – All lanes on westbound Highway 401 east of Trafalgar Road have reopened following a multi-vehicle collision early Friday morning.

Ontario Provincial Police say the crash involving three tractor trailers and two cars happened just before 2 a.m. and only minor injuries were reported.

Officials say the stretch of road required extensive cleanup and that the remaining right lane was finally open to traffic just after 9:30 a.m.
