Body pulled from High River creek

HIGH RIVER – RCMP are investigating after a body was pulled from Lineham Creek in High River on Monday.

Officers were called around 10 a.m. by someone who spotted the body near a footbridge.

It was transported to Calgary to be inspected by a medical examiner.

The person has since been identified as 53-year-old Arlene Mann. Anyone who saw or spoke with her on August 3 is asked to contact RCMP.

They are also looking to speak with anyone who was near the footbridge on Sunday night or early Monday morning.
