It’s just the latest in a series of Manitoba pot busts linked to BC. Earlier this month Mounties raided a large grow op in the RM of Ste Rose, finding almost $3 million worth of marijuana growing in six greenhouses. Police said such a large operation had the hallmarks of organized crime activity, and three BC men were arrested.

And RCMP and Brandon Police found 47 pounds of bagged marijuana during a raid August 3rd. Police released few details about that raid but said it’s believed the drugs came from BC and may be linked to organized crime.
