CALGARY – A fire broke out on the roof of a nursing home in the southeast Thursday morning.
The blaze was quickly knocked down with an extinguisher by roofers working on the building.

Fire crews were called to the building in the 4000 block of 8th Avenue to search for hidden fires and put them out.
There were no injuries and no residents will be displaced.
