Canada-wide warrant suspect caught by Saskatchewan RCMP

Dylan Lewis, wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for failing to comply with parole terms, was caught Monday by Saskatchewan RCMP.

LA RONGE, Sask. – The search is over for a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant after a brief foot chase in northern Saskatchewan.

Dylan Lewis, 23, was taken into custody Monday by La Ronge RCMP.

He was wanted for failing to comply with the terms of his parole.

Several tips from the public assisted RCMP in locating Lewis since a sighting the morning of July 15.

Mounties said he has a history of violence and weapon offences.

Lewis will be held in custody pending a court appearance on the outstanding charges.
