Weather Update: Monday July 28th 4pm
Expect a repetitive forecast over the next few days.
The omega blocking pattern will provide stagnant conditions – hot, dry and sunny weather – from now until at least Friday.
The upper ridge over BC and the prairies flattens slightly starting Friday, which may allow a few clouds and isolated showers near the mountains but the valley will stay mostly dry and partly sunny.
Despite the ridge possibly flattening slightly this weekend, some weather models are predicting that this upper ridge will regain shape by Sunday and last until several days into August.
Tuesday’s High: 30 to 38C
