MONTREAL — Jon Cryer seemed to suggest Wednesday that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis — who are expecting a baby together — are going to tie the knot before the end of the year.

Cryer, appearing on Global Montreal’s Morning News, spoke about plans for his character Alan to marry Kutcher’s character Walden on the upcoming final season of Two and a Half Men.

“I love that Mila Kunis is not the only one who is going to be marrying Ashton Kutcher this year,” he said. “I love that I have the honour.”

Kutcher, 36, and Kunis, 30, got engaged in February after about a year of dating.

Cryer, 49, who is in Montreal to promote the Canadian film Hit By Lightning at the Just For Laughs festival, said he will likely give his co-star plenty of unsolicited advice when the baby comes.

“He might need some help raising his child so I’ll just be that guy who’s really kind of annoying, who gives you tips,” said Cryer. “Because I’m sure they want to know what I have to say about the raising of their child.”

Cryer said he is writing a memoir that will be out in April — in time for his 50th birthday. One of the people he’s sure to mention in the book is his former Two and a Half Men co-star Charlie Sheen.

“We had a great time working together,” Cryer said. “It was the extra-curriculars that seemed to be causing him grief.”

He described the sitcom’s set as “a lot more calm” since Sheen’s departure.

“We wish him well, obviously, but knowing that you’re actually going to shoot on a day when you’re scheduled to shoot is great — knowing that is actually going to happen is lovely,” said Cryer. “I’m happy for that.”
