PENTICTON — Crews are mopping up following another grass fire in the south Okanagan near the White Lake Observatory.
The six hectare blaze broke early Tuesday along the side of the road near the White Lake – Grand Oro junction.

Officials say there’s no question that the fire was human caused. They say it’s the third grass fire in the area this year.
The closest residence – a farm – was about a kilometre away from the fire and was never in jeopardy.
