Hundreds of Army Cadets graduated from summer camp in Vernon Thursday.
Over 600 young people from across Canada marched through the parade square at the Cadet Summer Training Centre in the final event after two months of courses and extensive training.

The program is aimed at teaching leadership, good citizenship and physical fitness to the young cadets.
Vernon’s Annual Cadet Camp has been running since 1949 and students range from 8 to 12 years old.
