TORONTO – York Regional Police have located a heifer named “Bambi” that was reportedly running around in live traffic north of Toronto Friday morning.

A tweet by the police force said the young female cow was seen in the Jane Street and King Road area near King City around 9 a.m.

Authorities say the bull wandered off from a the nearby field in the area.

The animal was found at a pasture soon after a police search was conducted.

Police say the owner arrived on scene an hour after the sighting and clarified that it was a heifer and not a bull, as earlier reported.
