WINNIPEG – The big, colourful rubber balls that went missing from Assiniboine Park’s children’s playground have been returned.

Three of the balls, nicknamed Skittles by park staff, went missing on Monday night. The balls weigh as much as 150 kilograms and how they were removed from the fenced and gated Nature Playground was a mystery, communications manager Laura Cabak said Wednesday.
