Investigators will return to the scene of a Surrey house fire later this morning after flames broke out overnight.
Crews were called around 1 a.m. to the home on 143-A Street near 102nd Avenue.
Nearly 20 firefighters were needed to douse the flames, which started on the second floor of the house.
The fire caused significant damage and crews say it’s still too early to determine whether the blaze may have been deliberately set.
Nobody was home at the time and there were no injuries.
Surrey Fire Department says they are treating the fire as suspicious pending an investigation.
