The body of the 22-year-old has been found at the bottom of the precipice.

A search is underway for the 20-year-old because it’s believed he may landed in the water after falling even farther than his companion.

The search is focusing on the fast-flowing waters of Monashee Creek.

Mounties say a friend of the two hikers alerted them to the accident. (CKIZ)
