Crews in Burnaby are dealing with a house fire this morning.

The flames were spotted half an hour ago not far from Rumble Street and Gilley Avenue, prompting a call to 9-1-1.

Within moments, 30 firefighters and nine firetrucks arrived at the scene.

Crews managed to get the two-alarm fire under control in less than 15 minutes.

However, they are still hunting for hot spots to make sure there is no chance of the fire flaring up again.

It’s not clear if anyone was inside the house at the time, but the home┬áhas smoke and water damage.

Investigators will go through it later today to try and determine the cause of the fire.
