The blaze, which started at about 5 p.m. Saturday, quickly spread through the bus. Xinhua cited police who said it was caused by banana oil that the suspect carried in a 10-litre bottle.

Xinhua said the suspect was one of 15 people who were being treated for severe injuries from the fire. Others were being treated for less serious injuries.
