Toronto police investigate overnight double shooting that left 1 dead


TORONTO – A double shooting in downtown Toronto early Sunday morning has left one dead and another injured.

Police say two men were approached around 1:50 a.m. near Dundas and George streets by a third man who shot them with a handgun.

This is the city’s 22nd homicide this year.

Investigators want to speak to anyone in the area at the time of the shooting or the hours before it occurred.
