WAYNE SIMMONDS – National Hockey League player Wayne Simmonds joins the conversation on the national edition of The Morning Show. The Scarborough native is in-studio to talk about his hockey career and the 3rd annual Wayne’s Road Hockey Warriors ball hockey tournament this weekend. Funds raised will go towards paying the registration fees for three lucky kids in the community.

KATE BOLAND – Actress Kate Boland is in-studio to talk about her new film, Gerontophilia. Boland was chose by Elle Canada as one of three Canadians to watch. Meanwhile, the movie, directed by Bruce LaBruce, is about a young man who takes a job in a nursing home and develops a romantic attraction to an elderly man.

FESTIVAL LIBREFestival Libre is a weekend long festival celebrating Bicardi’s passion for rum culture through cocktails, music, dance, cuisine and art.
