Anna Paquin shows off her 20-year-old Oscar statuette

TORONTO — Winnipeg-born actress Anna Paquin has revealed where she keeps the Oscar statuette she won in 1994.

“He is still in our kitchen,” Paquin tweeted Wednesday, “where @amynadine applied fake lashes to him oscar night this year.”

Paquin added the Oscar normally sits in her bedroom.

The star also retweeted a photo posted by Nadine showing the statuette with false eyelashes.

Tweeted Nadine: “I love that you didn’t take them off!”

Paquin, 31, earned the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Piano when she was only 11 years old.

She and husband Stephen Moyer, her True Blood co-star, are parents of 22-month-old twins. Paquin is also stepmom to Moyer’s two children from a previous marriage.
