WINNIPEG – Two teen boys are facing arson and break and enter charges in connection with a fire that was started in a home under construction last month.
The blaze spread, destroying two homes and badly damaging two others on Jefferson Avenue on May 19thd.

The home where the fire was started was vacant; however two adults, four children, a friend and five cats were inside the neighboring house when the fire broke out.

Damage estimates to the four homes are valued at $500,000.
A 16 year old boy and a 15 year old boy are both facing multiple charges.
