CORNWALL – Ontario Provincial Police say a stock car driver has been killed in a crash at the Cornwall Motor Speedway during a race.

Police say Danny Lefebvre, 23, of Saint-Louis De Gonzague, Quebec, struck a concrete barrier during the race Sunday night.

He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Provincial police forensic experts are assisting the Ministry of Labour in the investigation.

A post-mortem examination is being scheduled.
