CRESCENT BEACH, N.S. – Police are looking for the owner of a large Rottweiler that attacked a four-year-old boy on a beach in southwestern Nova Scotia.
RCMP in Lunenburg County say the boy was bitten several times on Sunday at Crescent Beach.

The boy required medical attention, but no other details were released.
Investigators say the dog’s owner was spotted leaving the beach in a red or burgundy-coloured Honda Civic.
