WINNIPEG – A three-year-old boy died after he was hit by a vehicle Sunday afternoon in Winnipeg’s West End.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Toronto Street and Notre Dame Avenue around 4:15 p.m.

Police say the toddler was in a Toronto Street back lane when a vehicle turned from a Notre Dame Avenue back lane and hit him.
The driver of the vehicle immediately stopped and called 911.
Speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash. No charges have been laid.
Officers continue to investigate.
