The race started at 7:30 a.m. this morning at the University of British Columbia’s Thunderbird Arena and the finish line for the half-marathoners was at Stanley Park. The route went through West 16th Avenue, Southwest Marine Drive, down through Spanish Banks, Locarno and Jericho beaches, and over the Burrard Street Bridge, temporarily closing one lane of the bridge and other roads.

Money raised from the event goes to local and national charities.
