If you’re the type who likes to get from point A to point B the old-fashioned way, then Vancouver is for you.
Walk Score has compiled their list of Canada’s most walkable cities and Vancouver is number one.
The website, which ranks the walkability of city neighbourhoods, says in Vancouver, most errands can be accomplished by foot.
Walk Score says Vancouver also has excellent public transportation.

The other top five cities in Canada for walkability are Toronto (#2), Montreal (#3), Mississauga (#4) and Ottawa (#5).
As for Vancouver, Walk Score says people here can walk to an average of 8 restaurants, bars and coffee shops in 5 minutes.
